Welcome to the Windplex Discord Server. These rules ensure a safe, fair, and community-driven experience. Violations are handled through a three-strike system unless noted. Staff reserve the right to skip strikes for severe behavior.

1. Be Respectful

Purpose: To maintain a welcoming, inclusive, and civil environment.

Violations: Harassment, hate speech, excessive swearing, or personal attacks.

• Mocking someone’s nationality, gender identity, or religion
• Using racial or homophobic slurs
• Publicly targeting or belittling a member

Punishment: Strike 1 – Warning · Strike 2 – 24h Mute · Strike 3 – Ban

2. No Spamming

Purpose: To keep conversations readable and enjoyable for all.

Violations: Flooding text channels, command spam, excessive emoji use, or mass pinging.

• Repeating the same message or emojis multiple times
• Spamming bot commands or reactions

Punishment: Strike 1 – Warning · Strike 2 – 6h Timeout · Strike 3 – Kick

3. Use Channels Properly

Purpose: To keep discussions relevant and organized.

Violations: Posting unrelated content in specific-use channels.

• Sending memes in #support or #announcements
• Using bot commands in general chat

Punishment: Strike 1 – Redirect · Strike 2 – Warning · Strike 3 – Channel Mute

4. No NSFW or Inappropriate Content

Purpose: To maintain a safe environment for users of all ages.

Violations: Posting sexual, violent, or disturbing content.

• Sharing suggestive memes or videos
• Inappropriate usernames, nicknames, or profile pictures

Punishment: Strike 1 – Warning + Delete · Strike 2 – Kick · Strike 3 – Ban

5. No Self-Promotion

Purpose: To prevent unsolicited advertisements and spam.

Violations: Promoting your social media, Discord server, or store without approval.

• DM advertising to members
• Posting non-Windplex YouTube links without permission

Punishment: Strike 1 – Delete + Warning · Strike 2 – Kick · Strike 3 – Ban

6. No Trolling or Baiting

Purpose: To reduce unnecessary drama or conflict.

Violations: Intentionally provoking others or pretending to break rules “as a joke.”

• “Joking” about serious topics
• Intentionally annoying staff or players

Punishment: Strike 1 – Warning · Strike 2 – 12h Mute · Strike 3 – Ban

7. English Only in Main Channels

Purpose: To ensure moderation clarity and universal communication.

Violations: Using other languages in public channels unless specified.

• Full conversations in non-English in general chat

Punishment: Strike 1 – Reminder · Strike 2 – Warning · Strike 3 – Mute

8. Do Not Ping Staff Without Reason

Purpose: To allow staff to manage the server without unnecessary distractions.

Violations: Pinging admins/mods without valid issues.

• Tagging @admin to joke or get attention

Punishment: Strike 1 – Warning · Strike 2 – Timeout · Strike 3 – Role restriction

9. Respect Staff Decisions

Purpose: To maintain moderator authority and order.

Violations: Arguing in public or DMs about staff actions.

• “You can’t mute me” type replies
• Evading punishments via alt accounts

Punishment: Strike 1 – Warning · Strike 2 – Mute · Strike 3 – Ban

10. No Controversial Topics

Purpose: To prevent arguments and discomfort among members.

Violations: Starting discussions on politics, religion, or tragedies.

• Arguing about real-world governments or conflicts

Punishment: Strike 1 – Redirect · Strike 2 – Warning · Strike 3 – Mute

11. No Malicious Links or Files

Purpose: To protect members from scams and viruses.

Violations: Sending suspicious links or attachments.

• IP grabbers, fake Nitro offers, token loggers

Punishment: Instant ban + Report to Discord

12. Keep Usernames & Nicknames Appropriate

Purpose: To prevent confusion and offensive content.

Violations: Inappropriate, misleading, or staff-impersonating names.

• “Admin#0001” or slur-based names

Punishment: Strike 1 – Rename request · Strike 2 – Force change · Strike 3 – Kick

13. No Voice Chat Abuse

Purpose: To keep voice channels safe and comfortable.

Violations: Screaming, soundboards, or disruption.

• Loud music without permission
• Joining/Leaving spam or mic spamming

Punishment: Strike 1 – VC Mute · Strike 2 – 24h VC Ban · Strike 3 – Full mute

14. No Doxxing or Threats

Purpose: To protect the personal safety of all members.

Violations: Sharing personal information, threats, or blackmail.

• Posting someone’s IP, address, or face

Punishment: Instant ban – No appeal

15. No Drama or Public Complaints

Purpose: To resolve issues calmly and privately.

Violations: Complaining about bans or staff publicly.

• “Mod abuse” accusations in chat

Punishment: Strike 1 – Redirect to support · Strike 2 – Timeout · Strike 3 – Ban

16. Don’t Abuse Bots

Purpose: To ensure bots function smoothly for everyone.

Violations: Spamming commands, glitching economy bots, etc.

• Flooding commands in active chat

Punishment: Strike 1 – Warning · Strike 2 – Bot Restriction · Strike 3 – Mute

17. Don’t Evade Punishments

Purpose: To enforce accountability and fairness.

Violations: Using alts or VPNs to bypass bans or mutes.

• Joining from another account while muted

Punishment: All accounts banned permanently

18. Don’t Fake Reports or Abuse Tickets

Purpose: To maintain a reliable support system.

Violations: Making false claims or joke reports to staff.

• Opening tickets to troll or waste time

Punishment: Strike 1 – Ticket ban · Strike 2 – Mute · Strike 3 – Server ban

19. Respect Privacy

Purpose: To protect members’ personal conversations and content.

Violations: Sharing screenshots or DMs without consent.

• Posting private conversations publicly

Punishment: Strike 1 – Warning · Strike 2 – Mute · Strike 3 – Kick

20. Follow Discord Terms of Service

Purpose: To remain compliant with Discord’s global policies.

Violations: Violating any part of the Discord ToS or Community Guidelines.

• Using cracked software, hacking, scams, etc.

Punishment: Immediate ban – Reported to Discord

🔄 Strike Notes:

• Strikes may expire after 30–60 days of good behavior.
• Staff may escalate immediately if the situation is severe.
• For ban appeals, use our official support system (if available).
